Pomegranate Seeds

Since our Californian founding in 1972, we’ve been brewing full-flavoured teas with deliciously exotic, natural flavours without adding any nasties. Not long ago Tata Global beverages bought Good Earth and our small team in Australia were charmed by the philosophy of the brand. We share the same passion for creating tasty drinks that you can feel good about enjoying.

HOW DID WE CREATE GOOD EARTH KOMBUCHA?

We were shocked when we discovered how much sugar was in so-called ‘healthier’ soft drinks. When we went and spoke to Melbourne locals we unearthed a real desire for a delicious drink that people could enjoy guilt-free. Our research kept pointing us towards Kombucha. We were intrigued by the process and figured we could use our roots as a tea brand to create this delicious fermented drink. We partnered with a local Victorian brewer and began experimenting. We sourced ingredients to help create an organically certified drink, that is low in sugar and contains no artificial nasties. We gave it to our friends and family to taste and they couldn’t get enough of it – we were onto a winner!

To further ensure we got the flavour profiles right, we tested 6 flavours; passionfruit and lime, lemongrass and ginger, pomegranate and acai, original, raspberry and coconut and espresso with some local stores. The overwhelming results were that passionfruit and lime, lemongrass and ginger, pomegranate and acai and the original were the most popular flavours that people wanted to drink and kept coming back for!
